Emma-Jayne originally hails from Leeds in England.Initally she had absolutely no interest in dancing. In fact, the very thought of it terrified her. But all that changed at 9 years old; after her first tap class and she bitten by the proverbial performing bug.
Her formal training began at her local dancing school with further tuition under June Wilkinson at Armley Dance Studios. During her training, she was nominated for an I.D.T.A Tap Scholarship and also competed as a finalist in the 'Miss Dance of Great Britain.'
At 18 years old, she landed her first professional job in Hong Kong. It was in the Far East her love of working abroad was born, and for the next 5 years she worked all over South East Asia, America and Europe.
Emma-Jayne's career has been incredibly diverse. She has appeared in numerous West End musicals, been a backing dancer for the former Spice Girl - Emma Bunton,voiced several audio books for Audible.com and strutted down the runways of Europe for Gossard, Playtex, Ian Stuart and Wella.
She's impersonated Sue Sylvester for an animated version of Glee, published a book, been a hit in Finland playing a Hollywood starlet in the critically acclaimed 'Helsinki Boulevard', and body doubled for Laura Dern.
She currently lives in New Jersey with her rescue dog Benny. As a keen animal lover and pro American Pitbull advocate she can often be found on social media challenging the misconceptions of how the breed are perceived.
